 John Bjorklund and Geoff Lund took their Science Fair project to the Regional Fair at Fairview College, where is was selected as the best Engineering project, eligible for the Canada-Wide Fair. They went on to enter that fair, which was held in Calgary that year, and they had a great time. Their project was a home-made water filter, which used pvc pipe and socks! Although we've had numerous other winners at the Regional Fair, John and Geoff are the only students from our school ever to win a trip to the Canada-Wide Fair ... so far! |
