Celebrate Alberta's native heritage in style ... build a tipi right in your classroom! Students in Mrs. Golinowski's Grade 3/4 class did just that, and the spectacular result was definitely worth the effort!
The frame was made from donated tent poles and a little duct tape. Walls were constructed from simple brown butcher paper, and were decorated appropriately. Students created the dwelling while they were learning about early life in Alberta.
