I was talking on the phone eating a sardine sandwich drying my hair out for a walk half asleep looking in the mirror just sitting there when I realized that I was in love someone was watching me something wasn't right there was a bad smell somewhere something amazing had just happened I wasn't wearing any clothes I was a vampire . I felt suddenly afraid elated a cold chill nervous and upset like a million dollars wonderful worried sad , and I knew that soon I would have to make a decision do something about it go to the bathroom go to sleep paint my toenails finish drying my hair cover myself in embarrassment call someone find out the truth . My friend Chelsie Brent Michelle Brody Trena Josh Destiny Darla Matt Emily Victoria Kelsey had called me the previous day, and told me all about Laurie Michael Ty Renessa Brent Wacey Jason Michelle Jenna Kelsey Destiny Chris Evan 's problem with the police the stray dog that was acting strangely the letter she wrote to Nelson the letter he wrote to Jaycee the principal her mother his father her boyfriend his girlfriend that stranger in town the pierced navel , and I was a little worried about him her both of them my sanity what would happen infection . Then, all of a sudden, I saw in my mind off in the distance creeping towards me in the mirror written on the wall behind a tree coming through the doorway in a blinding flash what I realized was the awful truth a snarling wolf the problem I had ignored the person I least wanted to see my mother the principal my worst nightmare my true love the thing that I most feared a huge masked man with a chainsaw , and right then I wet my pants had to sit down cried out in fear began to sob uncontrollably laughed out loud choked back a scream choked back a large belch knew I was in love knew I was invincible knew I was in trouble realized I was good looking realized I was rather unattractive broke wind ! I remembered what my math teacher my father Emily my horoscope my grandfather my karate teacher my psychiatrist my doctor my older sister the secret voice in my armpit had told me about a situation like this. It was very important that I not panic run away run away from my fears blush take things too seriously lose sight of what was important forget my manners look worried throw up all over everyone . Very calmly, I picked up a big stick picked up my hair curler said a little prayer resolved to do the right thing walked away bent over and threw up ate another bite of my sandwich spoke a few quiet words to myself sat down placed wads of gum over strategic locations and knew I would do the right thing pulled on some pants started screaming for help resolved to do something about the situation waved my arms in the air shivered uncontrollably called my best friend immediately felt better about it realized I was no longer afraid realized I looked ridiculous . Before I knew it, I was alone several people were watching me I was sobbing uncontrollably it was over I was on the phone I was in the hospital I was curled up on the floor I was curled up on the ground I was laughing at myself I was deliriously happy my arms were stuck to my chest , and I cried like a baby knew I had done the right thing told my friend what I had decided told my friend to bring me some clothes knew I needed to rest was glad it was finished discovered that I was happy discovered that I liked myself discovered that I needed to lose a few pounds decided I needed to think about it some more knew I had to do something more knew I really liked being naked . So you see, I really learned something didn't get hurt got a good scare almost died almost died of embarrassment almost died of pneumonia was thankful that I acted sensibly had a 'blonde moment' needed to thank my math teacher wasn't cut out for things like this , and I decided I just had to tell you all about it.
