This past summer we were in Dundas, Ontario, where they hold their annual Cactus Festival. (Dundas greenhouses produce many of the cactus plants sold across Canada). Part of the festival was a street fair, which included sidewalk sales, games of chance, and a lot of rides. While wandering around, we noticed quite a few applications of physics and mathematics, and thought we would share them with you. (Anything to avoid getting on that Ferris Wheel ... )
