Compounds

This semester we've done a section on compounds. I have learned that compounds are pure substances made up of two or more elements, combined in a definite proportion.
Compounds can be made up of any kind of element. Some examples are hydrogen peroxide or carbon dioxide. Another is water, or H2O



Another example of a compound is marsh gas, or CH4



As you know, compounds are chemical combinations of elements. Element atoms combine to form compounds. Here are some examples of elements:
