FOCUS or SHARPNESS
Sometimes you will take a photograph that you really want to save, but it's slightly out-of-focus. You may be able to salvage this photo, and even have a regular-size print made from it ... as long as it is not too out-of-focus.
From the Enhance menu, choose the last entry: Adjust Sharpness (see the picture below). When the Adjust Sharpness window appears, try some numbers to see if you can get an acceptable image. For the sample image at the right (and see below) we used about 30%.
Sharpening the image will make it seem more in focus; we'll also reduce the size of the image slightly, and increase the colour saturation, which will also help.
If the out-of-focus property of your original picture is due to motion blur, sharpening won't help. You'll need to take such pictures at a faster shutter speed.

Below is the same image after sharpening, intensifying the colours, and reducing the size. The improvement isn't huge, but it now makes an acceptable photo.
