Translations
by Jennifer S.

A translation is when you move an object from one place to another with out making the object bigger or smaller. You can move an object by using a grid. You move it using positive and negative numbers like these:  [7, -4]  which means 'move right seven and down four'. Notice the green arrow, which is another way to show the movement.

Another example: [-9,-6], or 'left 9 and down 6'.
The image after the translation is shown with dashes.
