NASA's Vehicle Assembly Building is one of the largest buildings in the world. It was originally built for assembly of Apollo/Saturn vehicles and was later modified to mount the Space Shuttle components. With a height of 160 m and volume of 3.7 million cubic m, it contains the same volume as 3.75 Empire State Buildings, or 1.5 Pentagons.
