We found two calculator programs for your computer which would be very handy for checking your homework answers. One is a calculator that does geometry and trigonometry calculations; the other does fraction operations. Both unzip easily without installing.

This calculator does nothing but fraction operations. That's all. And it does those very well, with an easy-to-understand layout.
It will take mixed, proper, or improper fractions, and show you the answer as a mixed fraction and decimal after addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. It will also do multiple calculations.
The calculator program comes zipped, and it's only 370k.

This calculator does coordinate geometry and trigonometry problems. Some of the things it will do include: solving area and volume formula problems, finding the distance and midpoint, slope, simple trig, circle relationships, and sine and cosine law problems.

The program also tells you the formula for each calculation it is doing, and uses familiar versions of the formulas, along with a diagram. As with the fraction program above, it requires no installation; just unzip it to a folder somewhere. It's 600k (zipped).
