Summary
Our professional development activities for 2006-07 will address:
- implementing 'Assessment for Learning' in all classrooms and subject areas.
This will include workshops, discussion of ideas, planning, meeting(s) with the AISI
team, and a book study using 'Beyond Monet'. This process is already well under way.
- implementing our Effective Behaviour Strategies as planned last year, to help change
students' attitudes toward schoolwork, homework, studying for tests, and caring for the
learning of themselves and others. We have already begun this process.
- analyzing PAT and DE results to look for areas of weakness, and to plan strategies for
improvement.
