We were cleaning out a closet recently, and came across several large bins marked 'Jesse's Stuff - Don't Touch'. So naturally we had to have a look inside. We were astounded to discover that the bins were packed with shoes. Just shoes! Apparently these were the ones she didn't  take with her when she left home.

We felt that such a vast collection deserved some sort of recognition. So we made this page. Are we going to get in trouble for this? That goes without saying. Just remember ... you saw it here first!

Here then is the very first on-line Shoe Museum of Jesse's shoes!

These are the oldest shoes in the collection. We may have them bronzed.

These were Grad shoes, worn only once.
The beer stains add a pleasing touch.

We're sure these were a fad in the sixties. Didn't Ringo Starr wear these?

Pointy velvet black pumps.
Painful. Now in Hallowe'en box.

Open-toed leather high heeled sandals were in style for exactly two weeks in 1999.

Extra running shoe set #1. White doesn't go with anything, so never worn in public.

Everyone needs a pair of smiley-face
fuzzy slippers. We're not sure why.

The work boot running shoe. For those times in PhysEd class when white just won't do!

Extra running shoe set #2. Too fancy
for any actual walking or running.

The heels on these were so high, Jesse was six feet 11 inches tall when wearing them.

These are very nice. They
must be somebody else's!

She does, however, have a tarantula tattoo on her left ankle...
These may be combat boots. But as far as we know, Jesse has never been a skinhead.

Didn't Bing Crosby or Gene Kelly wear these in an old movie? And THEY could SING!

Extra running shoe set #3. For PhysEd class, but not used because they marked the floor.

Exquisite light blue silk runners for a casual evening out on the town. Just darling!
Different than pair number two above. A spare set, for when the first are in for repairs.

We could only find one of these. We think the other one is in Ontario somewhere.

Another single. This one looks like it was
in a car accident. The dog likes it.
