Cursor Rally: Your Mouse Is Your Ferrari

Rally Champions:

Michelle 'Leadfoot' Leadfoot is our current rally champion, with a best time of 11 minutes 37 seconds. She tells us: "This track is fast, and I can take the corners at speed. But an unplanned pitstop to clean my mousepad cost me a few valuable minutes."

Brody 'The Treehugger' Treehugger currently holds the single lap record time of 10 minutes 58 seconds.He is an experienced racer, and he describes the track this way: "I try to keep my cursor to the right, and cut toward the centre on corners. I also maintain my mouse in top condition, with a complete overhaul after every race."
Treehugger has been known to end up in the trees on more than one occasion.

Vicky the 'Wildwoman' Wildwoman is the least experienced of the regular drivers, but still has managed to turn in a respectable time of 17 minutes 32 seconds.
Says Wildwoman: "In the straightaway, nobody can match my mouse for speed. But I tend to get excited in the corners, and wipe out a lot. I guess I just need more experience on this track."
Wildwoman often practices her driving techniques getting to class.

Reg 'Mouseman' MacDonald Mouseman currently holds the course record for the longest lap time, at 3 hours 42 minutes. Mouseman tells us:
"I'm fast in practice, but when it comes to competition, it's bad news! Last time out I blew a mouse ball on the first corner and never recovered after that. I'm thinking of investing in a high performance mouse; then you can eat my dust!"

Rally Racers in Training Our Car Rally attracts top mouse racers from all over the region. These top cursor drivers compete to win a favourable pole position for upcoming races. Competition is fierce, and not all drivers can handle a Formula 1 mouse at the speeds required in this race. If you have aspirations of becoming a top mouse racer, listen to these words from one of our contending novice racers: "Keep your mousepad clean, wash your mouseball often, and most importantly, keep your head up in the corners!"
