  • Peter Abraham, from the town of Monroe, Orange County, New York, tells us: "The Hudson Valley region of New York State is on the edge of the Catskill Mountains, roughly 65 miles from New York City. Mixed residential areas ... some suburban, some more rural, but nothing as open-spaced as what I see on your school site!! I found your site and info because of a Google search that brought me to a recipe for ice cream in a coffee can. Brilliant!!
It sounds as though your community and school are wonderful, with interesting creative programs and great teachers. Enjoy the winter and thank you for presenting a terrific web site to the world! I teach people how to use a Steadicam, which is a fun device used to make movies, t.v. shows and music videos.
  • Stephen McKinley, from the town of Ooltewah, Tennessee left us this message: "I live on the outskirts of Chattanooga, a river-side city surrounded by mountains; Lookout Mountain and Signal Mountain being the largest nearby. The city was once a center of industry due to its location on the Tennessee River. It is the home of the world's first Coca-Cola bottling plant. Other Chattanooga products include Double Cola, Moon Pies, and Little Debbie Snack Cakes. Chattanooga is now home to the Tennessee Aquarium, a freshwater aquarium which describes the course of water as it flows from the mountains to the ocean. Some may also be familiar with the song by Glenn Miller titled "Chattanooga Choo-Choo." This song was based on an actual train which started in Pennsylvania and terminated in Chattanooga. The train station is now a resort hotel in which families can sleep in actual converted train cars. Chattanooga is also home to Rock City, Ruby Falls, and is the birthplace of miniature golf (originally called "Tom Thumb Golf."
  • Police Officer John Scott from Baltimore, Maryland at the Baltimore Police Academy tells us: "Our Tidewater region giving way to rolling hills and what we call mountains (some over 3000 ft.)
