She taught her some words in Swedish: Hej =Hi  Hejdå= Good byejulkalappar = presents Jul = ChristmasHus = House Sommar = SummerJulgran = Christmas tree Vinter = WinterVår = Spring Höst = AutumnKatt= Cat Hund= DogJoanna also told us: 'In Sweden it was raining all summer , but usually we have hot summers and cold winters. Right now there's lots of snow. In Sweden we have our Christmas day on the 24th of December; that's when we open our presents'. |
