We were visited by Laila L. Tegelsrud, from Grinder School, in Grue, a small town in the Hedmark region of Norway. Their small primary school has 88 pupils in six classes, and is creating a website. They wanted to say hello; they sent us these pictures that we're sure you will enjoy. Grinder School |

In the very eastern part of Grue there is a big forested area called Finnskogen. Finnskogen
has a rich wildlife, and many nice lakes. Students visit the area on outings. Here you can see a group of them, and Helene, who is making a hot chocholate drink to keep warm. These pictures were taken in September 2000. A current project at the school is to recreate an Iron Age house in their playground, to help illustrate the rich history of the region. They are also involved in an internet project tracing the history of the Vikings. |
